Support for Your Amahi Home Server
Amahi is a community-driven effort. There is no dedicated staff to help. However, we have a number of enthusiastic people in our community that help all the time.
Search
The first thing you should do when facing an issue is search the Amahi sites in the search box at the top of this site, with the appropriate keywords. That may give you a soution right away.
FAQ
The search above should include the FAQ. However, you may want to take a look in the section closest to your issue or do a text search on it. If you think your issue should be listed there, it would be great for others if you can submit feedback from your account control panel or emailing the time.
Wiki
A great resource is the wiki, where many topics are documented. You may find topics there that will help fix your problems.
Forums
If you cannot find an answer to your question in the resources above, the forums may be the place to ask your question. Other members of the community may have faced similar issues. There are also many experts on Amahi there.
Mailing Lists
We have one mailing list, for developers and closer members of the community, the amahi-devel mailing list.
IRC
Last but not least, we have a lively IRC channel. Come visit to check things out, say hi, or ask support questions!
Server:irc.freenode.net
Channel:#amahi
Here is a helpful IRC howto, if you are new to IRC.
You can find some IRC help on the Mozilla IRC howto or this IRC tutorial.
We recommend the XChat client for Windows and Linux, mIRC for Windows only and Colloquy for Mac OS X.
Contact Us
Finally, if all else fails, write us and we will try to help, keeping in mind we keep ourselves busy developing new features :-)
