What does it take to move an application through these states?
For a given platform, the app has to have been reported working by more and more collaborators or testers. The Amahi testmasters are the ones who do, releases, under advise from the app packager and the app collaborators. This is based on a "chain of trust concept." Generally, the Amahi team does not openly trust someone very new to the community. We are thankful to the Amahi users that have put the trust in us to run their HDA. We in turn build trust with packages over time and the end Amahi user expects us to maintain that trust with them. Ultimately, the user expect things to work and as we build trust over time, we take the input from the app packagers and contributors to make a call in changing the state of an app.
