Amahi DLNA Server is a media server. It's the Amahi port of the great MiniDLNA (aka ReadyDLNA), which is a media server with the aim of being fully compliant with DLNA/UPnP-AV clients.


This is a very popular DLNA streaming server. Your devices, such as TVs, media boxes from many vendors, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and other set-top devices. With this app you can easily stream videos in formats like AVI, MKV, MPEG, mpeg4, and more to many of your devices.

This streaming server has built-in support for streaming jpg and mp3 files to TiVo devices supporting HMO. It also has support for Sony, Vizion and Samsung TVs among many many more. In addition, it can also stream to VideoLAN (vlc), Windows Media Server and many other DLNA clients.

This server is Open Source software developed by a NETGEAR employee for the ReadyNAS product line. So if you are looking for a NAS, consider ReadyNAS as one of your options!
